J-Horror Theater
With the success of the Japanese film Ring (aka Ringu), a group of six directors were asked by producer Takashige Ichise to create a film, each to be released under the umbrella of J-Horror Theater.
- Kyôfu by Hiroshi Takahashi Released: 10 July 2010. Final film made by the original duo responsible for the film that started it all, Ringu, Director Hiroshi Takahashi and Producer Takashige Ichise. Officially part of the J-Horror Theater series. Official Kyôfu trailer also indicates that Kaidan and Sakebi were part of the series, as at the beginning it shows clips from all 5 films with their release dates, 2004-2007, followed by the Kyôfu preview.
Kyôfu marks the end of the 6 films making up the J-Horror Theater.
